Our gender reveal party was so fun and so meaningful to both Jake and me. We had it on June 13th at noon in our living room.
We set up a Zoom call and invited all of our family and friends. We're not sure how many people showed up, but it was more than could fit on 2 screens.
Many people even made us some special signs! Chuck had a sign that said "Team Boy" and Ella had a sign that said "Team Girl". A few of my young swimmer shad "Congratulations Jake and Chloe" signs. SO MANY people were there and we felt so much love and support. It was incredible to see everyone and to know that they supported us.
I set up a background of balloons and streamers that I found on Etsy. Jake got me his air compressor so that I could easily and quickly blow up all of the balloons. The backdrop was gorgeous and it really made us feel special.
We welcomed everyone as they arrived. Then, I had prepared a fun little quiz while we waited a few more minutes to show up.
With each milestone it becomes more real. We still have a long way to go, but this process is so special regardless of the pandemic. I'm thankful for every step and that I'm blessed enough to have been chosen to be this little precious baby boy's mom.
My name is Chloe Sutton and I am the bride to be! I am an Olympic swimmer, Christ-follower, and the VP of Fitter and Faster. Here is where I will blog about the wedding planning process!
