My first trimester was surprisingly easy. I anticipated being horribly sick due to many horror stories from friends, family, movies and all the books I was reading. I'm so glad that my experience so far has been relatively mild.
I have had a little bit of morning sickness, but mostly just food aversions and a lack of an appetite. I also had a couple of weeks where I was pretty fatigued. My most noticeable symptom has been the amount I'm now capable of sleeping! I can sleep forever if I want to. I fall asleep on the couch around 8 most nights.
My second appointment was in April. I just had a check up and we listened to the baby's heart rate with a doppler. I was glad to hear a strong heartbeat and know that Baby Mackey is still thriving in there!
As I write this I am 15 weeks and 5 days. I'm only barely starting to show. I mostly just look like I've put on some quarantine weight. I'm anxiously awaiting having an actual baby bump and feeling my first kicks.
My next appointment Is March 14th. I assume it will be similar to the last. Check up and listen to the heart rate to make sure baby is still doing well.
My next exciting appointment is June 10th! At that appointment I will get to have another ultrasound and find out the gender. I'm planning on having the doctor write it on a paper and then finding out with family and friends during a virtual gender reveal party!
My name is Chloe Sutton and I am the bride to be! I am an Olympic swimmer, Christ-follower, and the VP of Fitter and Faster. Here is where I will blog about the wedding planning process!
